Main Campus (Tucheng) Outdoor Experimental Station |
The Tucheng Campus is equipped with a physical fire test chamber, a high-temperature refractory furnace, a chemical laboratory, a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, and structural system laboratories. Some unused land is rented out to local governments and public works companies. This area has been listed by the New Taipei City Government as part of the New Taipei Justice Park Development Zone, and the New Taipei City Government is expected to alter and expand its urban plan and expropriation operations.
Main Campus (Keelung) Slope Engineering Research and Experimental Station |
Slope stability observation facilities have been established on this campus, and research on slope stability observation is being conducted. No other developments are ongoing at this stage. The location on a mountainside has led to safety concerns and limits the economic benefits of the campus; consequently, the abolishment of the appropriation of the land was passed at the 64th Taiwan Tech Council meeting. The Keelung City Government is currently conducting a comprehensive review and inventory of university-use land within their urban plan, and the land will be returned to the National Property Administration for management.
